Join us on our first coach trip of 2025 as we visit the unspoilt haven of Buckler’s Hard located on the banks of the beautiful Beaulieu River in Hampshire and spend the day in a place ‘where time flows differently’.

Discover the history of this unique 18th century shipbuilding village in the Buckler’s Hard Museum, which flourished as a naval shipbuilding centre where three warships from Nelson’s Navy which took part in the Battle of Trafalgar were built. See models of these ships along with other Nelson artefacts, including his baby clothes.
Take a step back in time and see how villagers would have lived and worked in the early 1800s and compare the cramped home of a labourer’s family with the more spacious shipwright’s cottage in the village or explore St. Mary’s Chapel with its smugglers’ cellar.
Enjoy a leisurely stroll down the high street to watch the boats sailing by on the Beaulieu River, wandering past the orchard, where in spring the apple trees are in full blossom. The fruit is picked each autumn and used with apples from other orchards on the Beaulieu Estate to make Beaulieu Apple Juice.

Your ticket entitles you to free entry at the Buckler’s Hard Museum and a river cruise along the beautiful Beaulieu River. All other attractions are also free to enter.
