The History of Axminster

Silk & Sequin Fabric Birds Craft Workshop

Saturday 14th December 2024, 10:30am – 12:30pm

Bradshaw Meeting Room, Axminster Heritage Centre, Thomas Whitty House, Silver Street, Axminster, Devon, EX13 5AH.

In this seasonal workshop we will be making Christmas tree decorations from shiny silky fabric scraps and giving them real feather tails.  These decorative birds can be made with very easy sewing techniques, then stuffed and further embellished with sequins and beads to catch the twinkling Christmas lights.

Tickets cost £7.50 per person and can be purchased from Axminster Heritage Centre during opening hours.
