Georgian Coffee House Day
Thursday 7th October 2021, 9am – 4pm
We are holding a Georgian Coffee House Day on Thursday 7th October from 9am – 4pm in the Bradshaw Meeting Room, the Minster Green and the Church Rooms. We are celebrating the history of Georgian coffee houses and Axminster’s Georgian past, whilst encouraging the public to visit our beautiful Georgian building. There will also be craft demonstrations on the day.
If you are interested in dressing up in costume or taking part in any way like making cakes, stewarding or handing out leaflets on the day etc please get in touch with Gina on 07703 246481 or via email at: firstname.lastname@example.org. Gina is also happy to offer costume advice and help you to put your Georgian outfit together.
Gina is also asking for donations of teapots for a ‘Silent Auction of Teapots,’ (bidders write their bids down) taking place in the Bradshaw Meeting room on the day. If you have any decorative or useful teapots that you would like to donate please deliver them to the Heritage Centre during opening hours.
Please come along on the day and ‘Let’s fill the town with Georgians’ . . . it’s going to be great fun!”
