The purpose of these classes is to provide you with the basic skills to design, choose fabric and complete a stitched quilt square. This session will concentrate on alternative shapes of pieces as well as fabric combinations to produce special effects, with the aim of producing an Axminster Themed quilt to display in the Heritage Centre. Materials will be supplied. Tea and Coffee will be provided

Temporary Exhibition at Axminster Heritage Centre.

The exhibition, created by Axminster Heritage Collections Committee member and Trustee, Rebecca Green, is an exploration and celebration of both the industrial and social history of Britain’s Railways and features panels on Seaton Junction and the Axminster to Lyme Regis branch line as well as Axminster Station.
‘Britain’s Railways’ can be viewed at Axminster Heritage Centre during its new summer opening hours which are Monday – Saturday, 10am – 4pm and Saturday 10am – 1:00pm
