The trustees of Axminster Heritage (AH) recognise that your privacy is important to you and that you care about how your information is used and shared. We respect and value the privacy of our members and all those with whom we communicate and will only collect and use information in ways that are useful to you and in a manner consistent with your rights and our obligations under the law. This policy applies to our use of any and all data collected by us.
- What data does Axminster Heritage collect?
In order to manage membership, collections, staffing and promote the activities and facilities of Axminster Heritage efficiently we keep a contacts list of names, addresses, email addresses, and in some cases phone numbers, of the people who:
– volunteer to work for AH
– are AH members
– contact us, request information from us, make a booking for an AH event, make a donation to AH
– are a supplier to AH
- How do we use this data?
The contacts list is only accessed by our officersto communicate with individuals solely in connection with the management and activities of Axminster Heritage, as the need arises.
- How and when do we store this data?
Your data is stored on the password protected computers of AH in order to use it as described above in section 2. We only keep your data for as long as we need to. And for no more than two years after contact has ceased. We use the company MailChimp for delivering mailings and they comply with The General Data Protection Regulation 2016 (https://mailchimp.com/legal/)
- Do we share your data?
We use the company MailChimp to deliver mailings and they comply with The General Data Protection Regulation 2016 (https://mailchimp.com/legal/). We do not share your data with anyone else and have no intention of doing so.
- How Can You Access Your Data?
You have the legal right to ask for a copy of any of your personal data held by us (where such data is held). Please contact marketing@axminsterheritage.org
- Consent for AXMINSTER HERITAGE to hold your data
All the individuals on these lists will have freely and actively given evidence of their consent in statements which shall be stored separately and securely. Without this consent the GDP Regulations do not permit us to store their data at all. If at any time you wish to withdraw your consent for the AXMINSTER HERITAGE to hold the information you have given, your contact details will be deleted upon receipt of written communication from you.
